Artists of Nathdwara

Artists of Nathdwara (AoN) is an artist-led organisation that works to preserve the 400-year-long tradition of pichvai painting that originates from the temple town of Nathdwara in Rajasthan. The story of these artists is intertwined with the history of the town and its place in the Bhakti movement. AoN's mission is to revive the pichvai and have it recognised internationally. AoN was founded in 2015 by artists Parmanand Sharma, Girish P. Sharma, and Suresh Sharma, who have long been custodians of an artistic legacy that traces its roots to the famed Nathdwara School of Painting, renowned for its intricate Pichwai paintings and depictions of Krishna.

Monsoon Malabar is working with AoN on a short project involving a publicity campaign for their work. This also included a revamp of their newsletter strategy and design.
